A senior govt. officer with the specialization in Planning & Architecture with Urban Development & Housing Department, Govt. Of Sikkim, India having responsibility of several administrative affairs related to urban governance, monitoring and in-charge of key national flagship missions with 14+ years of experience and having depth knowledge in handling technical as well as bureaucratic matter flawlessly. Currently heading the Smart Cities Mission of the State of Sikkim under which two cities from Sikkim Namchi Municipal Council and Gangtok Municipal Corporation managed to win the All India City Challenge Competition under the flagship "100 Smart Cities Mission".

Apart from the official mandate, I am academically associated with London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE), UK in Deptt. Of LSE (Cities) as a Bloomberg Scholar for Public Service. I possess a Masters in Planning (First Class) from School of Planning & Architecture (SPA), New Delhi and B.Arch (Hons) from NITP. I am an avid learner and constantly look for an opportunity to augment my global experience in Urban Planning, Core Infrastructural Planning, Legislation and strengthening the network with professionals of international repute, learning from their experiences, peer to peer exchange of knowledge etc. through various platform of its relevance enabling self to understand the emerging trend in sustainable planning and design mechanism, to understand the creation of environmentally and economically viable smart urban infrastructure, improve the service delivery mechanism of the govt. organisation, integration of IT into the governance system, promotion of frugal technology and innovation in improving the lives of the marginal section of the society.
