Sharon Jackson: Founder/CEO, European Sustainability Academy, Crete (ESA), a globally unique, purpose built, bioclimatic, off-grid sustainable training centre for international executive education and research in how to manage and lead sustainable business.

Since 2000 Sharon has developed ground-breaking, transformational 'Corporate Responsibility Leadership' programmes for directors and senior-managers from global businesses in Europe, Australia and China. ESA is the manifestation of Sharon's vision of the need for 'experiential learning' for business leaders to fully understand how to embed Corporate Responsibility and sustainable practices at the heart of organisational development and strategy. ESA recently completed a 2 year project (WISE) in collaboration with ESADE University, to train women in Greece, Spain and Croatia to set up Social Enterprise.

Academic work includes Doctoral study of the reasons for disconnect between organisational intentions to embed CSR and actual CSR activities in business. Sharon's recent research paper 'Lessons from Sustainable Entrepreneurship towards Social Innovation in Healthcare: How green buildings can promote well-being' with ESA as the case study, will be published in 2016
